Engagement Ideas:

• Bike, Scooter, or use public transportation to attend an event (e.g. learn about native plants in CSU’s Trial Garden)
• Use SkiSU, or zipcar to hit the slopes
• Host a sustainable event (e.g. learn how to mend clothing, make your own blended burger taste test)
• Work with your RA to create a green bulletin board
• Host a sustainable event (e.g. movie night, sustainability jeopardy, recycling game)
• Volunteer with a local sustainability organization (e.g. Vindeket Food Recovery)
• Got something to share via social media? Work with our intern to promote a sustainability cause
• Got something to share via print? Pitch something to the Collegian or your hall’s newsletter
• Work with your RA to highlight sustainability in your hall via a bulletin board- change it up once a month!
• Learn about a sustainable building on campus and do a tour - the Pavilion is a good example!
• Survey students and do a presentation on their interests
• Plan a local and organic meal in your hall’s student kitchen
• Collaborate with an Eco Leader from a different hall to create a project or program

*Note: Each may be done once or twice a semester, but new initiatives should be tried each week
